Supplement tracker app
vitaloop is free and has no ads. Logging supplements costs nothing, the same as logging food and drinks, and macros and micronutrients are part of the free plan too.
If you take vitamin D, iron or magnesium, the number that matters is the sum of what is in the capsule and what you have already eaten. vitaloop adds the two together and shows the day's total next to its reference value.

What you can do with your supplements
Find yours in the catalogue
The catalogue covers the supplements sold in Spain: search by name or brand and pick the format. If yours isn't there, create it from the values on its label and it is saved among your usual ones.
Your routine in one tap
The supplements screen lists your usual ones, ordered by when you tend to take them, plus a button that adds everything you logged yesterday in one go.
Counted with your food
Each supplement goes into the same daily totals as food. The day's vitamin D, iron, magnesium or omega-3 is the sum of both sources, and that is the figure Analytics shows.
Scan the label (Pro)
With Pro, photograph the nutrition panel, or pick a photo from your gallery, and the app fills in the declared values: calories, macronutrients, vitamins and minerals. You check them before saving the supplement; nothing is logged until you confirm.
EFSA reference values
For almost every vitamin and mineral the reference value is the European Food Safety Authority's, adjusted for your age and sex. Each nutrient's detail also shows the upper limit, who sets it, and whether it applies only to supplements and fortified foods, as magnesium's does.
A daily reminder
If you take supplements regularly, vitaloop reminds you every day at 18:00. You can turn it off in the notification settings, like the meal and hydration reminders.
What it looks like

Your usual supplements, with one tap to repeat yesterday's.

With Pro, a photo of the label fills in the form. You check the values before saving.

The day's vitamin D: where it came from, with the supplement first, and why the figure is a minimum.
Worth knowing
A supplement's values are those the manufacturer declares on the label. The actual content of each nutrient may differ from the declared amount within the tolerances that EU rules allow, so the day's total adds up declared amounts, not measured ones.
Vitamin D is a special case. Skin synthesises it under ultraviolet B light, and for most people that is the main source; how much forms depends on latitude, season, time of day, skin tone and clothing. What you log covers only diet and supplements, so the figure is a minimum of what you receive and does not reflect your blood concentration. The vitamin D sheet always says so.
Comparing your total with a reference value is information, not a recommendation. Before starting, stopping or changing the dose of a supplement, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
How it works
- 1
Set up your profile
Age, sex, height and weight. That sets your reference values.
- 2
Add what you take
Find it in the catalogue, create it from the label or, with Pro, take a photo of it.
- 3
Log your food too
By search, barcode or by hand. Without the food, the day's total is only half the picture.
- 4
Check the total
In Analytics you choose the 5 micronutrients you want to follow and swap them whenever you like. Tap one to see how much you have had, its reference and, where it has one, its upper limit.
What is free
On the free plan, with no ads: logging supplements, food and drinks; the day's totals against their references; and in Analytics, 5 micronutrients at a time, the ones you choose, over the last 7 days. Pro adds supplement-label scanning, AI logging by photo, voice or text, and analytics across your whole history.

Questions about supplements
Is logging supplements free?+
Yes. Searching the catalogue, creating a supplement by hand, repeating yesterday's and seeing them add up with your food are all on the free plan, which has no ads. The one paid part is scanning the label with a photo, included in Pro (€9.90 a month or €49.90 a year, VAT included) and in Max.
Do a supplement's vitamins add to the ones from food?+
Yes. Each nutrient in the supplement goes into the same daily total as food, so the iron or magnesium you see in Analytics is the sum of both sources, compared with your reference value.
What if my supplement isn't in the catalogue?+
Create it yourself from the label: name, brand, serving and nutrients. With Pro you can photograph the label and the app fills in the nutrients; you check the values before saving. Scanning requires an internet connection.
Does the app tell me which supplement to take, or how much?+
No. vitaloop does not recommend supplements or doses. It shows how much of each nutrient you add up against a reference; what to do about it is for you and your doctor or pharmacist to decide. If you want to take them the data, Pro exports a report with the meals and supplements you logged.
